A fabulous year for Harvey Maria

2013 has been a super fantastic year for Harvey Maria. We’ve been at the best interiors events, launched beautiful new rubber flooring ranges, won design awards, and had the pleasure of working with leading British interior designers on some magnificent projects!

Neisha Crosland helped define 2013 as a winning year for Harvey Maria after being crowned the 2013 Homes & Gardens Surface Designer of the year. Her award was for her Harvey Maria ‘Parquet’ range which, with its bold pattern and contemporary colour options, has grown to become a firm favourite with domestic customers, architects and interior designers alike.

Lizzie Chambers’ interior room sets at Grand Designs Live featured our ever-popular Parquet Charcoal flooring by Neisha Crosland. So popular, we actually went out of stock! Note to self: must produce enough flooring for next year’s fabulous designs. We can’t have that happen again!

The new rubber flooring ranges were launched in November, and include super Smooth Rubber, studded Dimples, and the amazing ‘Grid’ collection by Wayne Hemingway. These super-durable tiles are easy to maintain, provide a softer sensation underfoot, and have already proved a perfect choice for kitchens, bathrooms, and children’s’ play areas alike. Rubber flooring has been named as one of the hottest rising trends in the world of interiors, so we’re excited to be starting 2014 with such a wonderful selection to our name!

Nina Campbell did a truly fantastic job for the Children in Need ‘Million Pound Build’, which we were genuinely honoured to be part of. Her use of Harvey Maria’s ‘Grass’ flooring to create an ‘inside-outside’ meadow inspired hallway really set the scene for the ‘Little Miracles’ new centre interior.

Lawrence Llewelyn-Bowen helped to conclude the year in his ever-stylish fashion with two luxurious room sets adorned with fabulous flooring from our ‘Colours’ collection. We had a wonderful time with Lawrence at the 2013 Ideal Home Show at Christmas, and can’t wait to be involved again in January!

We’d like to say a massive ‘thank you’ to all of the designers, tradespeople and interior stylists that helped make 2013 such a great year for us. And of course, we couldn’t forget our lovely customers – we’ve been wowed by all of the Christmas cheer on our Facebook page, and are very grateful to everyone who took part in our Facebook flooring competition in October!

2014 looks set to be just as busy, with new collections and details of an exciting new design partnership with Sebastian Conran just around the corner. So we would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year, and stay tuned for more news, fun and competitions in 2014!
