With exposed stone and concrete being hot on trend in design interiors right now, we were absolutely thrilled to show our Authentic Stone range off at Grand Designs Live 2014! And, even luckier still, we were asked to work with accomplished interior stylist Maxine Brady…No arm twisting needed there, as I’m sure you can imagine.

Maxine showed us how with the use of clever styling – accent rugs, bright colours, and beautiful patterns – a concrete effect floor can come to life and even feel cosy! We love her choice of geometric prints and patterns, which add a retro-style splash of colour to the otherwise cool and contemporary decor.

Concrete flooring in a kitchen

Maxine’s living/dining/kitchen/study space is ideal for modern living, proving how industrial interiors really are the next big thing. A Harvey Maria floor can help you to create an equally comfortable and cool space for your home. View the collections – Urban Colours, Tread Plate, and Authentic Stone

Jo Hamiliton at Grand Designs Live 2014We also loved listening to the talks by Jo Hamilton Interiors – delivered by the lady herself! Jo recommended rubber as a great alternative to carpet or wood, noting that her clients were delighted with the supple-but-durable rubber flooring that she used for their children’s playroom.

Our Rubber Ranges include super Smooth Rubber, studded Dimples, and the amazing ‘Grid’ collection by Wayne Hemingway. The tiles are highly durable, easy to maintain and soft underfoot – so it’s not difficult to see why they are really making their mark in the world of contemporary design!
