Happy New Year from Harvey Maria!

Wow, what a year we’ve had! Now that we’ve finally recovered from that 3rd bowl of pudding on Christmas day, we thought we’d take some time to look back on the past 12 months, and it certainly didn’t disappoint.

2015 was the year we said hello to our wonderful new design partner, Dee Hardwicke. Dee’s gorgeous, petal-inspired Lattice design has become a firm favourite with interior designers, architects and customers alike. It also joined other designs from Neisha Crosland and Cath Kidston, along with the brand new Premium Wood and Little Bricks, to form our unique ‘Signature’ range. Based on the simple idea of ‘unified design’, our coordinated palettes are the perfect way to easily create decor that flows seamlessly through your home.

We’ve worked with so many brilliant blogs this year, including (but by no means limited to) the fabulous One Kings Lane who used Little Bricks and Parquet from our Signature range in a beautiful bathroom makeover. We’d also like to thank Amanda from the Ana Mum Diary, who has chosen (and written about!) Harvey Maria flooring in both of her children’s bedrooms. She’ll also be using us in her hallway/downstairs bathroom in 2016, so watch this space. Thanks, Amanda!

Back in October, we were lucky enough to be involved in BBC’s DIY SOS ‘The Big Build’, which this year focussed on building a whole street of houses for homeless veterans in Manchester. Pretty impressive, I’m sure you’ll agree! It’s always a privilege to be able to show our support for projects like this, and we hope our contribution will continue to bring joy for many years to come.

We’ve had the opportunity to work with some fabulous stylists this year, the most recent being Charlotte Froud for the Ideal Home Show. Charlotte created a wonderfully festive yet achingly cool roomset, surrounding a Lattice feature area with Little Bricks in Forget-Me-Not. Earlier in the year, we also partnered with interior stylist and blogger Sian Astley, who cleverly incorporated zoning (one of the year’s biggest flooring trends) into some stunning roomsets for Bath Empire’s television advert.

But it’s not just professional stylists who have wowed us, either! We’re always impressed with the creativity of our customers, but this year you’ve truly excelled yourselves. We’ve loved seeing your stunning spaces on Instagram, and you continue to inspire us to put design at the forefront of everything we do.
