We are delighted to have been able to contribute some of our Grass effect vinyl flooring for this wonderful project, which saw the creation of a brand-new centre providing support for children with disabilities and life-limiting illnesses, along with their families.
Interior design icon Nina Campbell was part of the DIY SOS big build team for the second year running, helping to turn founder Michelle’s vision of a fun safe, and sensory environment into a reality with a both stunning and highly functional new space.
Nina used Harvey Maria’s ‘Grass’ floor tiles to add the finishing touch to the centre’s entrance area. The flooring adorned the entire corridor, creating a topsy-turvy effect for the room, which was somewhat reminiscent of Lewis Carroll’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’ with its ‘Inside-Outside’ theme.
The beautiful design compliments the grass floor perfectly, giving the impression of an indoor meadow. Uber cool lighting truly sets off the floor tiles with animated flowers and butterflies. In the main entrance, a hard-wearing Harvey Maria floor covering is ideal for the heavy footfall in this area.
We wish the team and families over at Little Miracles all our very best, and encourage you to show your support for Children in Need 2013 in any way that you can!
