Karen’s bright and fresh bathroom with Parquet Eggshell

As part of a ground floor extension, Karen Parker set out to transform one of her smaller bedrooms into a bright and modern bathroom space. Having installed a beautiful freestanding bath (something she had always wanted) and selected a subtle seagrass shade for the walls and tiles, the only thing left was to choose the perfect flooring.

“We wanted a hard-wearing floor that would be comfortable underfoot,” writes Karen. “In terms of design, the ideal flooring would be patterned and modern, whilst complementing our wall tiles without detracting from them too much. After much searching both in shops and online, I discovered Neisha Crosland’s Parquet design on the Harvey Maria website!”

Whilst she originally planned to choose Parquet Charcoal to create a contrasting look, Karen ordered samples online and realised that Eggshell was an almost perfect match to her walls and tiles. “There is enough white space in the design to keep the look simple whilst adding depth to the room. We are really pleased with the floor, and it’s so easy to keep clean!”

“We are looking at putting a similar floor down in our kitchen – we just need to select the units and colour scheme!” We’re so glad you’re happy, Karen – your new bathroom is beautiful, so we’re sure your new kitchen will be just as stunning!
