Monochrome & stylish

A big kitchen trend for 2024 is a monochrome color scheme with the use of dark grays and blacks. We’re expecting to see more of us turning to these rich and velvety hues to add a touch of drama to our kitchens. We especially love a black or gray LVT floor when paired with paler walls and metallic accents.

Squares Stove Black & Linen White brings a classic checkerboard look to the kitchen that’s both stylish and elegant; alternatively, you could bring in a more Victorian and heritage-inspired pattern with Walbrook Sherwin Slate or Pastel Black that work really well in both modern and more traditional kitchen schemes.

Bright & playful

On the flip side, bright colors are also set to trend this year and work really well in a kitchen. If yours is a space that’s sociable, busy or family-centric, adding a colored LVT floor can add interest and individuality; Dovetail Oxford Blue is a great example of adding rich color to a kitchen, especially when styled with cabinets and woodwork in a similar tone.

Checkerboard flooring is also a great way to bring color to your kitchen; Squares Venetian Red & Linen White is a lovely combination that is retro and contemporary.

Simple luxury

Online searches for ‘minimal luxury’ and ‘Quiet Luxury aesthetic’ have spiked in recent months as more of us look to invest in good quality, timeless interior features that are simple and classic. One of the joys of using luxury vinyl tiles in your home is that they’re incredibly versatile and elegant whilst remaining great value for money, so you can get a great looking floor without spending a fortune.

Embracing muted and neutral hues is a great way to bring the simple luxury style to your kitchen; Lattice Seedpod is a lovely example with its delicate pattern, as is Check Flint with its subtle colorway.

Heritage inspired

Rustic and heritage patterns always look great in a kitchen, especially when paired with natural textures and pale, putty tones that bring out the Victorian-inspired details. Our Walbrook collection, that launched last year, boasts a range of colors that all work beautifully in a kitchen, and we especially love Walbrook Peyton Blue with its fresh blue-gray tone.

The Northmore range is also a lovely way to introduce heritage pattern to your kitchen this year, with the design taking inspiration from 19th century encaustic tiles that enhance both contemporary and period homes.
